What it covers

TIN validation across 111 countries

REGREP checks TIN structure, syntax and checksums. It confirms format validity — not that a number exists or belongs to a given person.

111-country rule sets

Structure, syntax and checksum rules for TIN formats across 111 countries, kept current as authorities change them.

Bulk upload and REST API

Validate a whole file in one pass, or call the API from your onboarding, KYC or pre-filing checks.

Per-record results you can act on

Every record returns a pass or fail with the reason, and the full result set downloads as a report.

How it works

From a list of numbers to a validated report

No implementation project. Send your TINs, and REGREP detects each country format, runs the checks and returns a report.

1

Input

Upload a file of TINs with their country codes as CSV or Excel, or send them to the API.

2

Detect

REGREP identifies each country's TIN format from the country code on the record.

3

Validate

Structure, syntax and checksum rules run per record across the 111-country rule set.

4

Output

Each record returns a pass or fail with the reason; download the full results as a report.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What does the TIN validator check?
It checks the structure, syntax and checksum of each tax identification number against that country's format rules, across 111 countries. It confirms format validity — it does not confirm that a number exists or that it belongs to a particular person, and it never queries a tax authority register.
What does the free tier include?
You can validate 25 records every month and see the full per-record results, with the report available to download. The free tier covers 1 regulated entity and manual upload; bulk files and the API are on pay-as-you-go.
How does pricing work?
Validation is priced from €0.01 per record and billed in 100-record blocks with credits, where 1 credit = €1. A batch of 1–100 records uses 1 credit, and billing rounds up to the next block. The minimum credit pack is €50, retries caused by a REGREP error are free, and prices exclude VAT.
Can I validate TINs through an API?
Yes. A REST API runs the same 111-country rule set, so you can validate TINs during onboarding, KYC or a pre-filing check without uploading a file. API validation is billed the same way as bulk upload.

Validate every TIN before it reaches a filing.
